Tamarac ushered in the holiday season with its annual Holiday Lighting Festival on December 5, at Caporella Park.
The festivities began as Mayor Gomez and the city commission gathered to light the city’s Christmas tree, menorah, and kinara, spreading holiday cheer to residents and visitors alike.
Adding to the excitement, Santa Claus made a grand appearance with an early meet-and-greet opportunity before Christmas.
In addition to Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, Vice Mayor Morey Wright and Commissioners Marlon Bolton, Kicia Daniel, and Krystal Patterson attended the event.
Families enjoyed various holiday-themed entertainment designed for all ages, creating a memorable evening of fun and celebration.
This event was free to attend.
