Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy in Tamarac.
Tamarac’s Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy on Tuesday was ranked the fourth-best public high school in Florida and 56th best in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2025/2026 Best High Schools rankings.
The school topped the magazine’s list of all Broward County public high schools.
Rounding out Broward’s top five public high schools were Pompano Beach High School, William T. McFatter Technical High School, Cypress Bay High School, and Atlantic Technical High School.
U.S. News & World Report evaluated more than 24,000 public high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 high schools were ranked based on six factors: college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, college curriculum breadth, underserved student performance, and graduation rates.
“We are incredibly proud that our high schools are consistently recognized for being among the best in the nation,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. “These rankings reflect the hard work of our students; the dedication of our teachers, administrators, and staff; and the support from our families and the community. They also highlight the world-class education our students receive to prepare them for success in college and careers.”
