Tamarac to Host ‘Mom & Me Candle Creations’ for Mother’s Day

The City of Tamarac is inviting residents to celebrate Mother’s Day with a creative, hands-on experience at its upcoming “Mom & Me Candle Creations” event on Saturday, May 2.

Set for 10:30 a.m. at the Tamarac Recreation Center, 7501 N. University Drive, the class offers families an opportunity to slow down, get creative and craft custom-scented candles together.

All materials will be provided, and city staff will guide participants step-by-step through the candle-making process. The event is designed to provide a relaxing and meaningful activity for mothers, children and loved ones.

Registration is $25 for one adult and one child, with an additional $10 per extra participant. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.

The registration deadline is April 28. Residents can sign up online at Tamarac.me/Webtrac.
