Casa de Amore is celebrating a new chapter with a re-grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the chamber and city officials.
The celebration with the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce will take place Thursday, Aug. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Casa de Amore, 7111 W. Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac.
The event will feature complimentary appetizers, live music and entertainment, crafted cocktails and an opportunity for guests to meet Tamarac Mayor Michelle J. Gómez and members of the City Commission.
Guests can also participate in a complimentary tasting of Saint Sauveur 1972 Haitian Heritage Rum by Melky Jean.
City officials scheduled to participate include Gómez, Vice Mayor Marlon D. Bolton, Commissioner Morey Wright, Commissioner Krystal Patterson and Commissioner Kicia Daniel.
The ribbon-cutting marks the re-grand opening of Casa de Amore, an international cuisine restaurant that opened in 2024 and is promoting the celebration as “A New Chapter. The Same Passion You Love.”
The event is open to the community and is billed as an evening of food, cocktails, entertainment and celebration.
