Singer Suzanne O. Davis brings her Tapestry show, a Carole King songbook, to the Kings Point Palace.
Davis is an Ontario-based vocalist, flute player, and pianist. In her show, she strives to recreate the sound and atmosphere of King’s legendary 1971’ album while also including later hits of the decade, written and performed by her.
From It’s Too Late and I Feel the Earth Move to Sweet Seasons, It’s Going To Take Some Time, and One Fine Day, Davis plays a respectful and thoughtful tribute to King’s music and legacy.
The show, held on Saturday, November 23, at 8 p.m., is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are prohibited in the theater, and all show attendees must be 18 years or older. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
