A defining voice of early rock and roll, Chubby Checker brings the music that launched the Twist to the Kings Point Palace stage.
Checker first reached No. 1 with “The Twist” in 1960, making history when the song returned to the top of the Billboard charts again in 1962. The recording helped popularize a wave of dance-focused hits, including “Let’s Twist Again,” “Pony Time,” and “Limbo Rock.” Over a career spanning more than six decades, Checker has released dozens of recordings, sold more than 250 million records worldwide, and continues to perform the hits that made him famous.
In 2025, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Held on Saturday, January 10, at 8 p.m., the show is $35 for Kings Point residents and $40 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
