Residents looking to add some movement and music to their week are invited to participate in a free line-dancing series hosted by Tamarac Commissioner Kicia Daniel.
The program, titled Get in Step with Kicia, will be held every other Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center located at 8601 W Commercial Blvd. The sessions are open to participants of all experience levels, from first-time dancers to those already familiar with line dancing.
According to the city, the free lessons are designed to promote physical activity, wellness, and community connection in a relaxed, welcoming environment. No partner is required, and participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and come ready to move.
Line dancing offers a low-impact way to stay active while enjoying music and social interaction, organizers said. Space is limited, and advance registration is required to attend.
Residents interested in participating are encouraged to reserve a spot early.
