Summertime is here, and after the yearlong pandemic lockdown, families are ready to take a vacation — but leaving is always daunting and worrisome.
This is why the Broward Sheriff’s Office has launched a Vacation Watch Program to help keep an eye on homes while residents are out-of-town.
The free program allows residents the chance to have a volunteer, community service aid, or deputy check on their home occasionally while they are away to make sure all is well and safe.
To take part in the program, residents can call 954-764-HELP (4357).
