Tamarac homeowners will not see an increase in their millage rate for Fiscal Year 2027.
During the July 8 meeting, the commission passed a resolution approving the proposed millage rate of 7.0000 mills, the same as last year.
The commission approved a fire-rescue fee of $509 for residences, an increase of $59; a solid waste fee of $278.75 for residences, no increase; and a stormwater management fee of $178.07 for residences, an increase of $7.18.
The first public hearing to set the proposed millage rate and tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2027 will be held on September 14 at 5:05 p.m. in the commission chambers.
Final approval will be granted on September 23 at 5:05 p.m. in commission chambers.
