Residents will have an opportunity to receive free groceries during a drive-thru community food distribution hosted by Tamarac Commissioner Kicia Daniel.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 24, at 9 a.m. at Waters Edge Park, 7508 NW 61st St., in partnership with Farm Share.
Community members are asked to remain in their vehicles throughout the distribution. Volunteers will load groceries directly into each vehicle to help keep the process moving efficiently.
Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The event is open to community members seeking assistance, and no walk-up distribution will be available.
