The City of North Lauderdale, in partnership with the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, will host Biz Art in the Park 2026, a free community event celebrating local art, music, and businesses.
The event will take place Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hampton Pines Park, located at 7800 Hampton Blvd.
Sponsored by the City of North Lauderdale, WM, and the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the annual event will feature more than 40 arts and crafts vendors, live music, food, art displays, and participation from local businesses and nonprofit organizations. The event will also include the North Lauderdale School Art Competition.
This year’s theme, “Boots on the Ground,” will highlight song and dance through interactive activities and performances.
Gabrielle McKoy, known professionally as “Real McKoy,” will serve as the event’s visual artist and creative director. Through her company, Real McKoy Art, she will curate an artistic experience that reflects North Lauderdale’s culture and commitment to community engagement.
“Biz Art in the Park is an outstanding initiative that unites our community and celebrates the artistic achievements of local creators and local students,” said John Durgan, the city’s economic development manager. “Events like these elevate our city’s culture and provide a meaningful showcase of the talent and innovation found right here in North Lauderdale.”
Attendees can expect a full day of activities, including browsing arts and crafts, enjoying live music, participating in interactive workshops, sampling local food, and connecting with community organizations.
Admission is free and open to the public.
