The City of Lauderhill is inviting residents to roll up their sleeves and take part in Lauderhill Community Clean-Up Day, a citywide day of service focused on beautifying neighborhoods and strengthening community pride.
The initiative brings together residents, businesses, and local organizations to make a visible impact across the city by cleaning public spaces, parks, and neighborhood areas. Volunteers will assist with litter removal, light landscaping, planting greenery, and general beautification efforts.
To ensure participation throughout Lauderhill, the city will be divided into eight clean-up zones, allowing volunteer teams to spread out and support every area of the community.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10, from 7 to 10 a.m. Volunteers will meet at 7 a.m. at Lauderhill City Hall, located at 5581 W. Oakland Park Blvd., before heading out to their assigned zones. Clean-up activities will take place throughout the city.
Participation is open to individuals ages 14 and older, and community service hours will be available upon request.
Residents interested in volunteering are encouraged to register in advance. During registration, participants can select their preferred clean-up zone.
