Now is the time to apply to become a bus operator.
Broward County Transit (BCT) is holding a One-Day Bus Operator Hiring event to streamline the hiring process from several weeks into one day — allowing attendees to apply and interview. If selected, they may receive a job offer the same day.
Those in attendance will also be able to see the city’s new electric buses and speak with county trainers, supervisors, and other bus operators about the position.
“BCT has a great benefits package, paid training, expansive wellness programming, and full-time positions. I welcome the community to join our team,” said Coree Cuff Lonergan, General Manager and Director of Transportation of Broward County Transit.
The rubber hits the road on Friday, August 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Urban League of Broward County 560 Nw 27th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
For questions about this event or other information about BCT employment, contact Lynn Opperman at (954) 357-4755 or lopperman@broward.org.
