• March 4 – Information: A woman reported a possible burglary; deputies observed no signs of forced entry.
• March 4 – Threat Documentation: Deputies responded to Woodmont Hospital regarding a threatening statement that was later determined to be hypothetical.
• March 5 – Traffic Stop Documentation: A vehicle stop was conducted after a tag returned with no record; no citation was issued.
• March 7 – Business Contact: Deputies made contact with a business on North State Road 7 following complaints.
• March 8 – Police Service Call: Deputies provided transportation assistance to a behavioral health facility.
• March 9 – Suspicious Incident: Deputies responded to a report of a student making verbal threats to shoot students and his mother.

Major Crimes
Robbery (March 3)
A woman reported that a man she met at work followed her home and demanded her purse, which contained approximately $700 in cash, car keys, and a bank card. The suspect fled in an unknown vehicle.

A woman reported that her boyfriend forcibly removed her phone and keys from her hand.
Burglary – Business (March 5)
My Smoke Stash, 6418 N. University Drive was burglarized after suspects shattered a glass window. Estimated loss: $11,005. Surveillance footage was obtained.
Fraud – Credit Card (Reported March 5)
A victim reported fraudulent charges totaling $1,250.
Fraud – All Other (March 7)
A victim reported being defrauded of $10,000.
Embezzlement (March 8)
A woman reported she was defrauded of $45,000 by a man who claimed he would repair her vehicle and “flip” the money for profit.
Retail Theft (March 8)
At Walgreens, 6401 W. Commercial Blvd., a suspect attempted to pass counterfeit $50 bills labeled “motion picture purposes,” then fled with merchandise valued at $143.
Auto Theft (March 6)
A 2019 gray Genesis G70 was reported stolen from a parking lot.
Robbery – No Firearm (March 8)
A victim reported being slapped during an argument and having his glasses stolen.
Death Investigations
Several death investigations were reported during the week, including:
• Natural death
• Welfare check resulting in deceased individual
• Suicide investigation involving a self-inflicted gunshot wound
