Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit detectives have obtained surveillance video from an armed robbery of a cell phone store on July 17 in Tamarac.
Deputies responded to the AT&T Wireless store at 10181 W. Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac. at 4:47 p.m.  A robber, armed with a handgun, entered the store and began cutting the cellphones from the display kiosks. He threatened an employee and fled the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male with a heavy accent, about 6-feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a grey, long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans. He also had a light goatee or facial hair. The suspect ran out of the store to the back of the business then fled on foot. There were no customers in the store at the time, nor was anyone injured.
