Tamarac Community Center {City of Tamarac}
Residents in Tamarac experiencing financial hardship can receive food assistance through the City of Tamarac Food Pantry, a community program that supports families in need.
The pantry is open on the first and third Thursday of every month from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W Commercial, and is available to qualified Tamarac residents whose household income falls within the program’s eligibility guidelines.
City officials say the initiative aims to help ensure that no resident faces food insecurity alone. The pantry provides essential grocery items to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet, offering support during difficult financial times.
To qualify, applicants must be Tamarac residents who are experiencing a financial hardship and whose household income meets the program’s income guidelines based on the number of people living in the home.
Residents interested in receiving assistance can apply by visiting the City of Tamarac Food Pantry.
Community members who would like to donate or learn more about the program may also contact the city at 954-597-3626.
