Celebrate Tamarac’s diamond anniversary in style with live music and a big slice of birthday cake.

Although the city’s birthday is in July, the celebration will start early — at the Groove on the Grass Park Concert on Friday, March 3, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Held at the Tamarac Sports Complex, the concert is free to attend and will have on-site food trucks and inflatable rides for the kids. Nostalgia LIVE! will perform their signature mix of Yacht Rock and Soul’s greatest songs, including hits by Toto, Jeffrey Osborne, Gary Wright, Chicago, and Luther Vandross.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and, of course, take advantage of a free slice of birthday cake to kick off the City’s 60th Anniversary.

Tamarac Sports Complex is located at 9901 NW 77th Street.
