A hotel development and management company has announced its acquisition of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Northwest.
NexGen Hotels, based in Itasca, Illinois, purchased the 120-room property at 6800 NW 88th Avenue in Tamarac. AD1 Global, a Hollywood, Florida-based hospitality company, will manage the property.
The hotel is on the Colony Golf Course, approximately 12 miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Its location provides convenient access to local attractions, including HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital and University, Sawgrass Mills Mall, Amerant Bank Arena, the Florida Panthers IceDen, the Tamarac Sports Complex, and various shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
“We are thrilled to add the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Northwest to the NexGen portfolio of hotels,” said Chris Patel, President of NexGen Hotels. “The Fort Lauderdale area remains a key area for us, and we feel that the Fairfield Inn brand is a good fit for this area as well as our portfolio.”
Designed to cater to business and leisure travelers, the hotel offers modern accommodations with comfortable beds, plush linens, microwaves, mini-refrigerators, Keurig coffeemakers, and 55-inch flat-screen televisions equipped with the latest in-room technology.
