Get ready to relive the timeless classics of Rod Stewart as George Orr, accompanied by his band The Hot Rod, brings an electrifying tribute show to the Kings Point Palace.
Held on Saturday, July 29, at 8 p.m., the show is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests, with tickets available at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
George Orr calls himself an ambassador for Rod Stewart’s music and legacy rather than an impersonator. With his band The Hot Rod, he plays all of Stewart’s biggest songs, from Maggie May and Tonight’s the Night to Downtown Train and Mandolin Wind.
With a perfect frosted hairdo and raspy voice, Orr’s performance plays true homage to Stewart’s style and repertoire. His humorous stage presence and jokes between the songs make for a great show.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
