Johnny T and the Groovin’ Band Bring Classic Hits to Kings Point Palace

Johnny T and the Groovin’ Band bring classic rock and soul hits from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s to the Kings Point Palace.

Led by singer Johnny Tarangelo, known as The Man of Many Voices, the group features top musicians and vocalists performing songs from the Eagles, Journey, Chicago, the Grass Roots, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and the Doobie Brothers. A Bronx native, Johnny T started his music career in a Doo Wop group and has spent decades on stage, from performing with the Mystics to producing shows in South Florida, earning recognition for his versatile voice and dynamic performances.

Held on Saturday, August 30 at 8 p.m., the show is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.

The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.

The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
