A man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly making fake bomb threats against Woodmont Hospital for the second time.
According to Broward County Sheriff’s Office arrest records, authorities arrested Guerdouin Montimere, 36, of Tamarac, on January 6 after an investigation revealed he allegedly made multiple bomb threats targeting HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital.
Montimere – who has a documented history of similar incidents, including an arrest for the same crime in July of 2024 – was reportedly arrested about the investigation linked his IP addresses and devices to the most threats.
Investigation records show that on December 16, 2024, at approximately 1:47 a.m., the first of three threats were submitted to Crime Stoppers, stating: “Woodmont hospital a bomb those people ain’t worth a food stamp to me gw.” Law enforcement would later find that the calls originated from an IP address issued by T-Mobile.
Shortly after, at 2:40 a.m., another threat was sent, stating, “There is a bomb at 55th Court, Tamarac, FL. 33319,” utilizing a Comcast IP address.
A third message later came in, in which Montimere allegedly simply stated, “Claudine Montimere is a decent person,” before hanging up.
Records show BSO responded immediately to the mentioned locations, determining all reports to be false. Knowing Montimere’s history, deputies quickly moved to interview him about the threats, which he denied.
On January 3, investigators traced the IP addresses used in the most recent threats to Montimere’s residence and mobile phone accounts.
In addition to being charged with two counts of making a false report or threat of a bomb or explosive device, Montimere faces charges for unlawful use of a two-way communication device and violation of probation from his prior offenses.
On January 6, Montimere was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail. He is currently being held without bond.
