St. Malachy Church is set to host a bi-lingual community movie event featuring the film ‘Ignatius of Loyola’
The screening takes place on Tuesday, July 30, at 6100 John Horan Terrace in the parish hall. The English version will be shown at 5:00 p.m., and the Spanish version will be shown at 7:00 p.m.
“Ignatius of Loyola” portrays the journey of Saint Ignatius, the founder of the Jesuits, often called ‘The Saint of Second Chances.’ who transitioned from a life of nobility and soldiering to one of profound spiritual dedication and love for Christ.
The movie captures Ignatius’s transformation after a severe battle injury led him to a profound personal conversion and a commitment to God’s service.
His subsequent founding of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) impacted the Catholic faith, education, and missionary work worldwide.
