Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through June 20, 2022.

Auto Theft

Rock Island Rd.

An auto theft was reported on 06/17/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $200.

N. State Rd. 7

A 66-year-old male was the victim of Auto Theft on 06/18/2022. The victim left his 2021 blue/gray Toyota Corolla running with a passenger inside the vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle, and then the passenger drove off with the vehicle.

Battery

NW 81st Ave.

A 26-year-old female was the victim of Battery on 06/15/2022. Caller advised her daughter was locked in a house after her boyfriend beat her up.

Burglary Residence

Hill Rd.

An attempted burglary was reported at a residence on 06/16/2022.

Death Investigation

Fairview Dr.

On 06/14/2022, an anonymous caller advised of an odor coming from and flies on the windows of a location where a 28-year-old victim was found deceased.

Recovered Auto 

NW 57th Ct.

On 06/17/2022, a stolen vehicle out of North Lauderdale was located backed into a parking spot.

Robbery

Prospect Rd.

On 06/15/2022, a person was the victim of Robbery. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,050.

Arrests

Waters, Kevin Scott, 46, was arrested on charges of Battery-touch Or Strike E Sabal Palm Blvd on 06/14/2022.

De Nova, Michael Joseph, 36, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence on Nw 81st Ave on 06/16/2022.

Gagnet, Alexandra Nicole, 26, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence on Nw 81st Ave on 06/16/2022.

De Jesus Taveras, Victor Rafael, 24, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence on Buckeye Ct on 06/17/2022.

Pierce, Juan Edward, 64, was arrested on charges of Warrant/ Dealer Cocaine at 3850 W Commercial Blvd on 06/17/2022.
