Residents in need of groceries will have an opportunity to receive free food during a drive-thru distribution hosted by Tamarac Commissioner Kicia Daniel on Thursday, July 24.
The community food distribution begins at 9 a.m. at Waters Edge Park, 7508 NW 61st St., in partnership with Farm Share.
The event is designed as a drive-thru distribution, and participants are asked to remain in their vehicles throughout the process. Volunteers will load groceries directly into each vehicle to help ensure an efficient and convenient experience.
Groceries will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
