A woman is facing a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly stabbing her fiancé.
According to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office report, Kiana Shonice Brown, 29, of Tamarac was arrested on May 23, after deputies responded to a domestic violence 911 call involving a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim, who told them that Brown had stabbed her during a dispute. The report noted that the victim had a clear laceration on her left hand while speaking to deputies.
During questioning, Brown reportedly admitted to holding a kitchen knife but claimed she did not remember how the victim sustained the injury.
“I had it with me in my hand in the bedroom, then I was walking around the apartment, then I was in the living room,” Brown allegedly told investigators she doesn’t remember how the victim got cut with the knife.
Brown was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
