“Mr. Romantico,” Atilio Marinelli, is bringing the magic of Andrea Bocelli’s music to Kings Point Palace.
A classically trained dramatic tenor and actor, Marinelli sings in English, Italian, and Spanish. He studied opera at the Teatro Colón Opera in Buenos Aires and later in the United States with Steffanie Pearce at Gulfshore Opera and Bill Doherty at Central Florida Lyric Opera.
His tribute show, honoring the musical legacy of Bocelli, includes classical arias from the operas the tenor is known for, such as Nessun Dorma and Con Te Partiro/Time to Say Goodbye. Marinelli also covers popular songs like Quizás, Quizás, Quizás, and Can’t Help Falling In Love.
Held on Saturday, June 7, at 8 p.m., the show is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
