The Brooklyn Bridge, one of the most enduring names in American pop and doo-wop, performing since 1968, is taking the stage at the Kings Point Palace.
Formed when Johnny Maestro of The Crests joined forces with members of The Rhythm Method and Dion’s backup singers, The Brooklyn Bridge rose to fame with hits including The Worst That Could Happen, 16 Candles, and Blessed Is the Rain.
After Maestro’s passing in 2010, Grammy-nominated vocalist Joe “Bean” Esposito, known for Lady, Lady, Lady from Flashdance and You’re the Best from The Karate Kid, joined the group as a lead vocalist. The band’s current lineup includes original members James Rosica and Joe Ruvio, along with Louis Agiesta, Martin D’Amico, James Sarle, and John Williams.
Held on Saturday, November 8, at 8 p.m., the show is $25 for Kings Point residents and $30 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
