The City of Tamarac will host its annual Citywide Community Garage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Tamarac Park, offering residents a chance to buy, sell, and connect with neighbors in a family-friendly environment.
The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 7501 N. University Drive. Vendor setup begins at 5:30 a.m.
Vendor registration is open through October 2. The cost is $25 per space through September 22 and $40 for late registration from September 23 through October 2. A $30 refundable cleanup deposit is also required and will be returned within four to six weeks after the event.
Participants can register online at www.Tamarac.me/WebTrac or in person at Tamarac Park. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Buyers can expect to browse a wide variety of items, including clothing, household goods, books, toys, and other secondhand treasures.
The city reminds residents that the Tamarac code allows no more than three garage sales per year at a single residential address. Signage is limited to one sign at the sale location and up to three off-site signs.
