Menchie's Yogurt in Tamarac

Have you checked out Menchie’s Yogurt at the Midway Plaza yet?  Located at 5729 North University Drive near the Publix, this California franchise has not only a variety of flavors, they offer low carb, no sugar added, dairy free, nonfat, gluten free and kosher varieties of yogurt.   This location is always clean and the staff is friendly.   There are even chalkboards for the kids to draw on.    Get a keychain card and have it scanned each time you go to earn Menchie’s points for free yogurt.  Don’t forget to “Like” them on Facebook.

SWhat's New in Tamarac 2tate Farm is re-locating one of their claims offices from Coral Springs to Commerce Park in Tamarac and the City of Tamarac was successful in helping to facilitate this office move.

They are already local jobs, but it will bring another 200+ to Tamarac, in a 50,000 square foot space.

Aldi Grocery Store (Lauderdale Lakes)

Aldi Food Market has begun their renovations towards opening. If you drive by, you’ll see that they are working on their facade improvements, as well other changes they need. No opening date yet.  You are going to love this store and their prices!  Read more about Aldi here.

What's New in Tamarac 4

John's New York Pizza has a new location

John’s NY Pizza has completed their move successfully to 7041 W Commercial Blvd where the old Beverly Hill’s Cafe used to be.   You have to check out their new beautiful location.  Friendly service and delicious food.  Also, they have karaoke several evenings a week.  Ask for  Tony and Laura.

Progress on the  Tamarac Village project located West of Pine Island Road on Commercial Boulevard.  A consultant has been selected and Public and Economic Affairs Officer, Andy Berns is  currently negotiating a contract that his department can bring before the city commission for their approval.
