A stabbing between friends following a roommate dispute left one man with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
Retail Theft – Publix, 8245 N. Pine Island Rd – Nov. 17 (reported Nov. 18)
Two unidentified women stole several items valued at $442 and fled in a vehicle photographed by staff.
Threats/Intimidation – Tamarac – Nov. 18
A resident reported an argument with a neighbor over trash-can placement. The caller initially claimed the neighbor threatened him with a firearm before recanting; no weapon was seen.
Auto Theft – Arcadia Apartments – Nov. 17–18
A 2025 Honda Civic was stolen overnight from the north lot. The victim still had her keys; the vehicle was entered into NCIC.
Domestic Disturbance (Non-Crime) – Tamarac – Nov. 18
A woman called after discovering her husband cheated; no crime was committed.
Theft – Island Club Apartments – Nov. 18
Two people were seen removing coconuts from a tree behind a resident’s home. Approximate loss: $50.
Retail Theft – Five Below, 5767 N. University Dr – Nov. 18
An unknown male walked out with toys valued at $6 without paying.

A subject expressing suicidal statements was transported for an involuntary mental health evaluation.

A woman reported losing $1,000 after being scammed through a fake rental listing on Facebook.
Theft – Tamarac – Nov. 4 (reported Nov. 18)
A complainant reported $55,000 worth of rented lawn equipment never returned.

A subject was arrested for pushing his domestic partner.

Two sisters argued about a broken window and sharing a bed; nothing physical occurred.
Aggravated Assault – Tamarac – Nov. 19
A woman reported her boyfriend choked her and pointed a firearm at her during an argument in a parking lot. Suspect not located.
Credit Card Fraud – Tamarac – May–Nov. 19
Four fraudulent transactions totaling $3,900 were reported.

A check placed in an outdoor USPS mailbox was stolen, forged, and cashed for $3,320.

A victim reported identity theft and an attempted fraudulent check deposit.

A woman reported leaving her purse and ID on a bus.

A woman said her fiancé, who had been drinking, was holding their baby in a concerning manner. He left for the night; no crime occurred.
Auto Theft – Tamarac – Nov. 20
A 2014 Hyundai Sonata was reported stolen.

A man making suicidal threats was transported for treatment.

Deputies Baker Acted a man running into traffic and expressing intent to harm himself.
