Vice Mayor Kicia Daniel is inviting the community to dance for a cause this holiday season.
The City of Tamarac will host a free line dance class on December 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center.
Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items. All donations will help households experiencing food insecurity during the holiday months, a time when demand for assistance traditionally rises.
The event, led by Daniel, is designed to be upbeat, welcoming, and accessible to all experience levels.
The Tamarac Community Center is located at 8601 West Commercial Blvd. Participants can register by visiting Tamarac.me/GetinStep.
For more information, residents can call 954-597-3478 or email tami.taylorjohnson@tamarac.org.
