Don’t miss the Tamarac Teen Summit where this year’s theme is “Cyber Talk”.
With many teens already engaged on their phones, this timely event will include discussions on texting, online communication, cyber-bullying, and setting boundaries. There will also be a 3-Point Basketball Challenge as well as raffles, giveaways, and its a great opportunity for teens ages 13-17 to meet other students their age.
Hosted by the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department, the event will be held on Saturday, February 16, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Students must pre-register by Monday, February 11. Cost is $5.00 and includes breakfast and lunch.
The Tamarac Community Center is located at 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.
