Rev your engines and rock out to live music at the annual Rock N’ Ride Concert & Car show.
A collaboration between the City of Tamarac, the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Tamarac (P.A.R.O.T), and Cobra Joe Productions is held on Saturday, February 11, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Tamarac Sports Complex.
The free event offers something for every member of the family, including inflatable rides and the special appearance of a life-sized robocar. At the same time, the adults will enjoy the dazzling automotive exhibition of classic and custom cars and a wide selection of local food trucks.
The car show is open to all makes and models. All participating vehicles must register with Cobra Joe Productions. The registration fee is $25, and the judges will choose the Top 40 cars and award one Best of Show Trophy.
Local cover band Hot Mess is set to play at 3:30 p.m., followed by a trophy presentation. Stop by the Tamarac Historical Society table at the event to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Tamarac Sports Complex is located at 9901 NW 77th St.
