March is Florida Bicycle Month and to celebrate, the City of Tamarac is holding their Annual Bike RodeoĀ where children can learn about safety and the rules of the road.
Each year 40-60 participants 5Ā yearsĀ and up join the Tamarac Broward Sheriffās Office and their Explorers Program, where they give away free helmets, properly adjust them for safety and teach them bicycle safety by going through a funĀ obstacle course.
At the event will be refreshments,Ā giveaways and a chance to winĀ aĀ new bicycle forĀ one lucky winner.
All participants meet Saturday, March 12, at the Community Center Parking Lot at 8601 West Commercial BlvdĀ where the event will run from 10 a.m. ā 12:00 p.m.
