NutriFlo Medspa and IV Lounge in Coral Springs

As the community continues to weather the pandemic and health remains top of mind, more people are taking advantage of sustainable self-care and wellness options locally.
Open for just under a year, NutriFlo Medspa and IV Lounge in Coral Springs says their IV hydration therapy empowers people to improve their immune systems.
“We have had quite a few clients who have been sick and never really feel like they’ve gotten back to themselves,” said Carla Joseph, a board-certified nurse practitioner. “Then, they try us out, and they really notice a difference.”
She said at NutriFlo, IV treatments are formulated to improve physical wellness, boost metabolism, and rehydrate the skin while giving the body the nutrients it needs for energy and strengthening its immune system.
“You can take supplements, but IV hydration therapy is one of the best means of ensuring 100 percent absorption of vitamins and nutrients for immediate use by your body,” said Joseph, who works with IV therapy, aesthetics like botox, lip fillers, hair restoration, micro-needling.
The minimally invasive treatment takes about 45 minutes, and the IV lounge has multiple IV drips or “cocktails” customized to fit each client’s needs.
Joseph loves when clients attribute their good health to their wellness plans.
“Clients tell me they honestly feel this is why they aren’t getting sick,” she said. “I know it works, but when people say that, it really makes me feel good.”
Inside, the lounge boasts a soothing and peaceful environment – modern yet comfortable, with soft music and cozy recliners. Joseph admits clients tend to dose off while getting a vitamin drip.
With enhanced safety measures in place, she wants clients to know they are coming to a safe, clean environment to receive wellness from the inside out.
“All of our staff wear masks, and we are frequently sanitizing common areas, putting safety first,” she said.
In addition to the health and wellness aspects of NutriFlo Medspa and IV Lounge, Joseph sees more people taking advantage of their aesthetics branch, especially the non-surgical facelift procedure to tighten and lift sagging skin.
She said the benefits of the non-surgical procedures are, for starters, less downtime, and without cutting the skin, the risk of complication is much lower.
“It only takes an hour, and you can go back to your regular life soon after the procedure, said, Joseph.
With age or sun damage, the body produces less collagen, leading to sagging and drooping. Polydioxanone “PDO” thread facelifts stimulate collagen production to restore the skin’s texture, strength, and elasticity, which helps with facial contouring, enhancing the jawline, cheeks, and neck area.
It’s important to note that these aren’t the traditional facelifts meant for older women, she said.
“Younger people who want to enhance their features have been very happy with their results,” said Joseph, who aims to give her clients the most natural look possible.
The spa’s board-certified medical providers work with each client to customize a treatment to achieve their desired results. Each has gone through extensive training to offer these services.
“The quality and experience of our providers make us stand out,” said Joseph. “We stay on the cutting edge of what’s coming out in the market to achieve the actual results you love and desire.”
