Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida’s job growth for November was six times faster than the nation as Florida gained 51,100 jobs while the nation as a whole gained 210,000 jobs over the month.
Companies are also having a difficult time finding full-time workers in this competitive market, and the City of Tamarac is no exception.

The City of Tamarac is seeking an Engineering Construction Inspector/Plans Examiner. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least five years of experience in civil engineering inspection and plans review, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Possession of related coursework, certifications, or licenses, and/or South Florida utility construction experience is preferable. The first review of applications will take place on May 17, 2021. The position is subject to closing at that time or when a sufficient number of applications are received.
