Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy is set to host its annual STEAM Night on February 12, 2025, at 6 p.m., promising an evening filled with innovation and creativity.
This year’s event will spotlight Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through interactive booths, student showcases, and hands-on activities designed to captivate attendees of all ages.
Featured exhibits include 3D printing demonstrations, a high school art gallery, journalism photography displays, and a preview of the school’s upcoming culinary arts program.
In addition to celebrating academic excellence, the event will shine a light on an inspiring service project led by sophomore Nessa Schorr. Her initiative, “Links to Life,” aims to raise awareness about cancer while supporting the American Cancer Society.
Nessa has designed keychains crafted from colored beads and rubber bands, forming symbolic “links” that represent the connections within the fight against cancer. These keychains will be available for purchase at $5 each, with proceeds going toward cancer research and support services.
The night will also feature robotics presentations and partnerships with local organizations, emphasizing the intersection of technology and community service. Event organizers encourage local residents, parents, and students to attend and experience firsthand the creativity and dedication of Millennium’s young innovators.
Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy is located at 5803 NW 94th Ave, Tamarac, FL 33321
