Homicide detectives were investigating a police-involved shooting in Lauderhill Wednesday night, authorities said.
The shooting happened in the 4100 block of Northwest 21st Street during a “proactive joint law-enforcement investigation” involving the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Lauderhill Police, BSO said in a written media alert.
Additional information about the shooting was not immediately made public, including who was shot.
Wednesday’s shooting comes two days after a shooting at 4051 Northwest 19th Street left a man wounded, Lauderhill Police said Monday. The victim in that case suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police believe there were two shooters in Monday’s incident. No arrests have been announced.
