A house fire on Northwest 83rd Street in Tamarac damaged a home and left a family in need of emergency assistance, authorities said Monday.
Volunteer members from the Broward County chapter of the American Red Cross helped coordinate emergency aid to four people impacted by the fire, including one child.

The Red Cross is providing emergency financial assistance, health and mental health services, and other support to the impacted family, according to the organization.
