The City of Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department has announced a new adult sports league—Co-Ed Cornhole.
For residents unfamiliar with it, it’s a lawn game in which players take turns throwing 16-ounce bags of corn kernels at a raised platform (board) with a hole in the far end.
If the player gets the bag in the hole, they score three points, and if they land it on the board itself, they score one point.
For Tamarac’c cornhole league, players 18-years-old and up can join for a registration fee of $40 per team.
Games are to be played at Tamarac Park, 7501 N University Drive.
Registration is open until Friday, October 2. More information on joining can be found by calling (954) 597-3639 or (954) 587-3620.
