Tamarac Holds Free Movie in the Park Featuring Marvel’s Black Panther’

Don’t miss the free big screen Movie in the Park featuring Marvel’s Black Panther on Friday, February 7, presented by the City of Tamarac.

A superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, with Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

In the movie, Black Panther, T’Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father’s death, but he is challenged by Killmonger (Jordan) who plans to abandon the country’s isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.

The activities start at 6:30 p.m. with face painting, bounce house, music, and food from participating food trucks. Plus, a free bag of popcorn. Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs because the movie begins at 8:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the Tamarac Sports Complex, located at 9901 NW 77 Street.
