New York native Charlie Romo is bringing his fresh take on classic jazz and pop standards to the Kings Point Palace.
Romo’s repertoire draws from the Great American Songbook, where he adds his modern interpretation to songs made famous by legends like Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett.
At only 20-something, Romo has performed at iconic venues like Lincoln Center, the State Theatre, and Birdland Jazz Club and received multiple awards, including Broadway World’s Best Debut Artist.
Held on Saturday, November 9, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater, and all attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
