The City of Tamarac is giving away vouchers to students that can be redeemed for free haircuts before the new school year.
Sponsored by Dr. Kicia Daniel, District 4 Commissioner of the City of Tamarac, the Back-to-School Haircut & Hairdo Voucher program offers households up to three vouchers for free haircuts.
Those interested can scoop up their vouchers until August 16 at the Recreation Center from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., while City Hall will offer pick-up hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The vouchers can be redeemed for a fresh cut at two locations: the Tamarac Recreation Center, located at 7501 North University Drive, and Tamarac City Hall, located at 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue.
The program aims to support families by providing vouchers for haircuts and hairdos to elementary and high school students. Each household can receive up to three vouchers, ensuring that multiple children can benefit from the program.
Families must be residents of Tamarac to participate. For more information or questions about the voucher program, contact the city at (954) 597-3460.
