Lace up your bowling shoes and support local businesses and schools at the Sixth Annual Bowling 4 Business Tournament, where teams will compete for the highest score while enjoying camaraderie, food, and drinks.
Hosted by the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, June 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bowlero Tamarac, the tournament is $270 per team or $45 per player.
Peter Mason, Chamber’s Executive Director, said the annual bowling tournament raises funds for the Chamber Foundation, supporting local small businesses and Tamarac and North Lauderdale schools.
Mason added that the tournament brings together over hundred people every year, including local business owners, elected officials and city representatives, first responders, and community leaders.
“This is the highlight of the summer and a very special event for our community. The teams get to work together to accomplish the highest score while laughing, encouraging each other, eating, and drinking,” Mason said, adding that the tournament is a great team-building exercise and a way to support the community while gaining visibility for the business.
North Lauderdale Fire and Rescue won last year, and Wash-n-Go Lauderhill came close second.
The tournament sponsors are PuroClean, Waste Management, PostNet Lauderhill, Re/Max InterAction Realty, Broward Health Coral Springs, Goren, Cherof, and Doody & Ezrol, PA.
Chamber Chair Tanya Ragbeer from PuroClean said the company’s two teams of six bowlers had a blast last year. “It is a great team-building tournament where you can meet other local businesses. We are proud to partner with this annual event,” added Ragbeer.
Register online or call the Chamber office at 954-722-1520. The Chamber accepts raffle donations of $50 and above, with all proceeds going to Tamarac North Lauderdale Foundation.
Bowlero Tamarac is located at 8501 N University Dr.
