Detectives are searching for a gunman who killed a woman and teenage girl in North Lauderdale Wednesday morning, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Andre Odaine Anglin, 34, the suspected double killer, shot the victims in the 7900 block of Tam Oshanter Boulevard shortly after 9 a.m., authorities said
BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded, and emergency crews found the wounded victims at an undisclosed location. Both died at the scene, according to BSO.
A preliminary investigation revealed Anglin was involved in the shooting of both females, detectives said. Their names were not made public Wednesday.
According to investigators, BSO does not have a last known address for the suspect, but he is known to frequent the Margate area.
Investigators did not publicly disclose any potential motive for the killings, or the relationship between Anglin and his victims if any.
Investigators urge anyone with information about Anglin’s whereabouts to call BSO Homicide Detective John Curcio at 954-321-4212.
If they wish to remain anonymous, they can contact Broward Crime Stoppers directly at 954-493-TIPS (8477), online at browardcrimestoppers.org, or dial **TIPS (8477) from any cellphone in the United States.
Authorities said that any information that leads to an arrest in the case is eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
