Dance, don’t walk to the Platters tribute show at the Kings Point Palace.
“Mr. Personality” Tyrone Sweet was signed by Jean Bennett, the original Platters manager who played a vital role in the band’s success.
In their tribute show, Echos of the Platters perform all of the band’s classic hits and production numbers from the golden age of rock & roll.
Held on Sunday, February 4, at 2 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s ticket office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8.15 p.m.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
