Commissioner Morey Wright has donated $10,000 to Millennium 6–12 Collegiate Academy in recognition of the school’s recent distinction as the top-ranked public high school in Broward County, according to U.S. News & World Report.
The donation, made possible through discretionary funds allocated to District 2 as part of a developer agreement, comes at no cost to residents. The funds are designated for projects that serve a public purpose, and Wright directed a portion toward education initiatives within his district.
“I want to praise the students, faculty, and staff at Millennium for their dedication and hard work,” Wright said. “This recognition is a testament to their hard work and the support of Broward County Public Schools. It’s imperative that we continue to invest in public education. I encourage other community leaders to also invest in opportunities that uplift our youth.”
Millennium 6–12 Collegiate Academy has been recognized for its rigorous academics, dedicated educators and culture of achievement.
