The following is a summary of Tamarac crime incidents and arrests reported by the Broward Sheriff’s Office from July 1–7, 2025.
Theft & Property Crimes
Larceny – Other Theft: A theft was reported at 7-Eleven on July 1 at 12:31 a.m. Estimated loss: $2.
Retail Theft: A shoplifting incident occurred at CVS, 3915 W Commercial Blvd, on July 2, around 8:02 a.m. Estimated loss: $109.
Motor Vehicle Parts Theft: A license plate was reported stolen at Arrigo Chrysler Dodge, 5901 Madison Ave, on July 2. Loss: $80.
Theft – All Other:
A credit and debit card were stolen from a hotel room on July 2.
A phone was reported stolen while the victim was asleep outside on June 28. Loss: $300.
Recovered Vehicle: A stolen vehicle was located and recovered at 7600 Nob Hill Rd on July 1.
Arson: A Mercedes-Benz was destroyed by fire, and a nearby Lexus was also damaged in a fire incident reported on July 3.
Criminal Mischief: A felony arrest was made after property was damaged in an incident on July 3.
Domestic & Violent Incidents
Domestic Battery by Strangulation: A juvenile was arrested on July 1 following a delayed report of strangulation.
Aggravated Assault:
A victim reported being threatened with a weapon on July 1.
On July 4, an individual pulled a handgun during a verbal altercation.
Battery:
Latraysha Abdul was the victim of a battery on July 1.
Noelle Russow was battered on July 2.
Christopher Baker was involved in a domestic altercation on July 3, resulting in an arrest.
Frederik Rosslee was struck in the face during a domestic dispute on July 4. The suspect was arrested.
Claudette Bernard reported a battery on July 6 involving domestic violence and vehicle theft; the suspect was gone on arrival.
Robbery: On July 5 at 9:06 p.m., a male suspect stole a phone from the victim’s pocket. Loss: $640.
Other Incidents
Information Reports: Several non-criminal reports were filed, including disputes over refrigerator repairs, surveillance cameras, and mail fraud.
Property Damage: A golfer damaged a window at a residence on July 2.
Fire: Discarded fireworks ignited nearby furniture on July 4 at 8643 NW 61st Street.
Lost Property: Two separate reports were filed, including a lost wallet at McDonald’s.
Missing Person: Claudy Poteau was reported missing on July 3 after last being seen the day prior.
Baker Act: A woman experiencing a mental health crisis was detained under the Baker Act on July 4.

Nicholas Salter (B/M, 33) – Arrested July 1 for misdemeanor theft.
Lennon Dean Smith (B/M, 63) – Arrested July 1 for disorderly intoxication on a public bus.
Michael Anthony Russow (W/M, 45) – Arrested July 2 for domestic battery.
Chris Elvins Constant (B/M, 25) – Arrested July 3 on a felony warrant for grand theft over $20,000.
Mohamed Wagih Abdellatif (W/M, 41) – Arrested July 3 for misdemeanor battery.
Matthew Anthony Perez (W/M, 18) – Arrested July 3 for felony criminal mischief ($1,000+).
Michelle Lee Cohen Rosslee (W/F, 59) – Arrested July 4 for domestic battery.
