Millennium Collegiate Academy is set to host its annual “Freshman Invasion” event for the incoming class of 2024-2025.
The welcoming event, scheduled for Thursday, August 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., aims to provide new students and their families with an orientation to the Millennium Collegiate Academy and its programs.
The day’s agenda includes informative sessions and educational activities to help freshmen acclimate to their new environment.
The schedule for the event is as follows:
From 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., students and their families will arrive and gather in the front parking lot, where they will be welcomed by staff and current students.
The cafetorium will host the formal welcome and family orientation session from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. During this session, school administrators and faculty will introduce themselves and provide an overview of what students and parents can expect in the coming year.
Between 9:30 a.m. and 12:50 p.m., students will participate in group activities and rotations in various high school classrooms.
As part of the event, lunch will be served in the cafeteria from 12:50 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
