Challenger Elementary has "Meet the Author Night" at Barnes & Noble in Coral Springs 3

Media Specialist Rosemarie Winston introduced the authors

Students from Challenger Elementary of Tamarac and their families were invited to “Meet the Author Night” on February16, 2012 where selected student authors shared their stories to the audience.

A percentage of all purchases made that evening by Challenger families were returned to the school by Barnes & Noble.

Besides, the honor of being selected to be an author, students received an extra credit in reading or language arts, a free homework pass and were allowed to wear jeans with their spirit T-shirt the following Friday.
